If you love cycling, feeling the clean air blow against your face and the freedom it brings, then this region is the right place for you. In spring, summer, autumn and winter you can cycle to your heart's content.

There are several beautiful cycle routes where you can enjoy your favorite sport / hobby. There is a long cycle path that connects San Javier with Santiago de la Ribera. Cycling is popular in Spain, and the Costa Cálida is an ideal region to discover by bike. Away from the busy coastal region, there are a number of routes that are suitable for regular (electric) bikes but also for mountain bikes. You can ride along the Mar Menor on the boulevard until you reach Cabo de Palos or you can of course look into going climbing - the mountains are nearby. Our recommended routes are in the Sierra Espuña and at Mazarrón.

The quietest routes here are the Vías Verdes. For guided bike tours, we recommend Murcia Cycling.
